School Reopening: Epe Monarch, Aladeshonyin Hosts Lagos State Govt Delegates

The Lagos state government government had in March announced the closure of all schools in the state in order to forestall the spread of the virulent COVID-19 infection.

As part of it efforts towards resumption of academic activities and reopening of formal learning centers, the Lagos state government has begun consultation with relevant stakeholders.

The Sanwo-Olu-led government has reiterated his commitment to the safety of Lagosians, saying schools would be reopened only when the safety of students can be guaranteed.

To this end, the Lagos state commissioner for education, Folashade Ade Fisayo, has paid a courtesy visit to Oba Dr. Babatunde Olaogun Ogunlaja  JP.

The Aladeshonyin and paramount ruler of the Odo Nofofija Kingdom in his Palace.

The commissioner was on a tour of the schools in Epe Division to access the level of readiness in anticipation of schools reopening.

She was accompanied by special adviser on civic engagement,  Aderemi Adebowale.
