Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ Trial For Sex Trafficking Set For May 2025
Diddy appeared in a New York court for a hearing, where a judge confirmed the trial date coincides with the 2025 Met Gala event.

Prosecutor Emily Johnson indicated that the trial could last up to three weeks, though she noted that a superseding indictment might extend the timeline, allowing for additional charges and defendants to be included in the case.
Meanwhile, Diddy’s attorney, Marc Agnifilo, stated that the defence team would likely require a week to present their case.
According to a report from Rolling Stone, if convicted, Diddy could face a sentence of up to 15 years in prison. He is scheduled to return to court on December 18.
Last month, the music mogul was arrested in New York and charged with sex trafficking, racketeering, and transporting individuals for prostitution. He has pleaded not guilty to all charges.

Despite offering a $50 million bond, Diddy was denied bail and placed on suicide watch while he awaits trial. Agnifilo explained to TMZ that this precaution is standard for “new, high-profile inmates.”
Reports also surfaced suggesting Diddy has refused to eat in prison due to concerns about being poisoned. As a result of the bail denial, he will remain incarcerated until the trial begins.
