Secure Nigeria, Buhari Charges Service Chiefs
President Muhammadu Buhari today in Abuja decorated the newly appointed Service Chiefs and charged them to deploy their offices and their men to secure the country.
This is coming as the Commander-in-Chief of the Nigerian Armed Forces officially swore them in today following their confirmation by the National Assembly.
Buhari advised them to accept their responsibilities and prove their competence by deploying their best officers irrespective of paperwork qualifications.

He stated his anticipation for excellent performances by the Service Chiefs.
According to him, the security of the country should always be their priority.
The new Service Chiefs decorated include Major General Lucky Irabor, Chief of Defence Staff, who is expected to be decorated as full General, Major General Ibrahim Attahiru, Chief of Army Staff, to be decorated with the rank of Lieutenant-General.
