Security Agents Arrest Governorship Candidate In Kogi
EKO HOT BLOG reports that Action Alliance (AA) Governorship candidate in Kogi State, Olayinka Braimoh, has been arrested by security agencies alongside seven of his security detail in Kabba, Kabba Bunu Local Government Area of the state.
The Security operatives arrested Braimoh after campaign materials were reportedly found in his car.

The incident led to apprehensions among his aides and party officials when they could not reach him on the phone, sparking fears of a possible kidnap.
Speaking from Iyamoye, Ijumu LGA Braimoh’s media aide, Musa Yakubu, said, “The last time I heard from him was in the morning when he called from Kabba town, but all attempts to get through to him since that time proved abortive.
“His mobile lines have been switched off, including that of his entourage.”
Yakubu said the governorship candidate could not cast his vote during the election, stressing that Braimoh’s detractors might be behind the situation.
Speaking with Premium Times, Yakubu confirmed that the governorship candidate was arrested and detained by the police over some campaign materials found in his car.
He said while Braimoh had been released, his security officials were still detained.

He said, “We later heard that he was arrested with his entourage at Kabba.
“He has been released, but his security detail is still detained. He is still with them at the station.”
