Their offenses Range from Forgery, Robbery and Cheating
Interpol to cooperate with domestic laws before arrest

The International Criminal Police Organisation (Interpol) has issued Red Notices for 14 Nigerians alleged to have engaged in various criminal activities, including human and drug trafficking, robbery, cheating, and forgery.

The notices, detailed on Interpol’s official website, highlight crimes committed across multiple countries and call for cooperation in locating these individuals.

Among those listed is Felix Omoregie, wanted by Belgian authorities for leading a criminal organisation that exploits minors for prostitution.

Jessica Edosomwan, sought by French law enforcement, allegedly participated in a large-scale human trafficking operation and concealed illicit proceeds. Both individuals are accused of serious crimes that highlight the international scope of their operations.

Drug trafficking accusations dominate many of the cases. Uche Egbue is wanted in Argentina, while Jude Uzoma is being pursued by Brazilian authorities.

Similarly, Chinedu Ezeunara is sought in Uruguay, with all three accused of involvement in drug-related criminal enterprises. These cases underscore the global challenge of combating narcotics trafficking.

Meanwhile, Benedict Okoro is wanted in Nicaragua on charges of organised crime.

In Angola, Ikechukwu Obidiozor, Akachi Vitus, and Alachi Stanley are being sought for alleged involvement in kidnapping, robbery, and illegal possession of firearms. Their cases suggest links to violent crimes and cross-border criminal operations.

Human trafficking is another recurring allegation. Mary Eze is wanted in Denmark for her alleged involvement in human trafficking, while Bouhari Salif faces charges in China for drug smuggling. These accusations further illustrate the devastating impact of such crimes on victims and communities worldwide.

Other offenses include sexual assault and forgery. Canadian authorities have issued a notice for Timloh Nkem, who is accused of sexual assault and failing to comply with legal conditions.

Indian authorities are pursuing Austine Costa and Okromi Festus for alleged criminal conspiracy, forgery, and cheating.

Belgium’s charges against Omoregie involve the sexual exploitation of minors and leadership of a criminal organisation, while France accuses Edosomwan of managing human trafficking networks and hiding criminal proceeds. Similarly, accusations against Egbue, Uzoma, and Ezeunara highlight the pervasive issue of global drug trafficking.

Okoro’s case in Nicaragua centres on organised crime allegations, while Obidiozor, Vitus, and Stanley are accused of violent offenses in Angola.

Interpol clarified that Red Notices are not international arrest warrants but requests to law enforcement agencies worldwide to locate and provisionally arrest suspects pending legal actions like extradition.

“A Red Notice is a request to law enforcement worldwide to locate and provisionally arrest a person pending extradition, surrender, or similar legal action,” Interpol stated.
