See How Cross River Residents Reacted On Their First Sunday Service In 2 Months (Photos)
Residents of Cross River State have been reacting to their first Sunday service in 2 months since the church was also on lockdown to curb the spread of Coronavirus.
Following an order by the Governor, Senator Ben Ayade, the ban on religious centres was lifted to enable people worship God.
The order was contained in a statement signed by the Senior Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Christian Ita.
Thunderous shouts of praise and worship were witnessed in some sections. Members were so happy to gather in God’s Presence.
It is also worthy to say that members adhered strictly to the measures and guidelines imposed by the governor to cushion the effect of the virus, which includes Handwashing, use of face mask and social distancing.
Worshippers were clothed in their best attires and facemask worn especially for the female folks,a complimenting piece of mask material in uniformity with their dresses.
They expressed their gratitude to the governor for his consideration to hold services with light conditions.
Cross River and Kogi are the two States in Nigeria yet to record any Covid-19 case.
