EKO HOT BLOG reports that the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has given more update regarding the Tertiary Institutions Entrepreneurship Scheme Loan.

According to the CBN, as part of its policy measures to address rising youth unemployment and underemployment, introduces the Tertiary Institutions Entrepreneurship Scheme (TIES). The Scheme aims to provide an innovative financing model that will boost job creation, enhance entrepreneurship development, and support economic growth.

The Central Bank of Nigeria also shared the TIES loan requirements and advised the youths to take advantage of the scheme.

TIES Loan Requirements

1) Be a Nigerian polytechnic and University graduates with not more than 7 years post NYSC

2) Providing requisite information and documents, such as:

 First degree and NYSC discharge (or exemption certificate)
 Valid mobile phone number (linked to your NIN or BVN)
 Evidence of business registration (certified copies of relevant CAC documents) and
 Corporate bank account number of business.
