See Regions APC Zoned Chairmanship, Deputy Nat’l Chair, Secretary Positions To
EKO HOT BLOG reports that the All Progressives Congress (APC) has zoned its chairmanship seat to North-Central.
Per Punch on Wednesday, the party also listed the South-East region for secretary.

The deputy national chairman (South) is expected to go to the South-South.
The APC is also expected to set up sub-committees that will handle several aspects of the convention ranging from publicity to budget, security and logistics.
Members of the caretaker committee met in Abuja on Tuesday but had yet to finalise discussions and agreed to meet again on Wednesday.
On Tuesday, the Chairman, Caretaker Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee and Governor of Yobe State, Mai Mala Buni, announced that the APC national convention will hold on February 26, 2022.
The APC, founded on 6 February 2013, is one of the two major contemporary political parties in Nigeria, along with its main rival, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
APC is generally considered to be a centre-left political party that favours controlled market economic policies, and a strong and active role for government regulation.
A substantial number of its political leaders are followers of or politicians who subscribe to the social democratic political philosophy of Obafemi Awolowo and the socialist and anti-class views of Aminu Kano. Moreover, the majority of the APC’s base of political support is in southwestern Nigeria and Northern Nigeria, which are dominated by the Yoruba and the Hausa-Fulani, respective.
