55 Year Old Nigerian 'Bola Omotosho' Murdered In Cold Blood In Belgium

A 37-year-old man identified as Chigorom Ezeofor in Umuchiana village, Aguata Local Government Area of Anambra State has allegedly strangled his father to death, Sunday Punch reports.

A family source told newsmen that the suspect had been exhibiting some unusual behaviour before the incident on Saturday.

The Police Public Relations Officer in the State, Haruna Mohammed, said the suspect had been arrested, adding that he was mentally ill.

Mohammed said, “Today ( Saturday), about 9.45am, one Mr Timothy Ezeofor of Umuezegoro Kindred Umuchiana village reported at Aguata Police Station that about 8am of same day, his elder brother Godwin Ezeofor, Aged 70 years of the same address was allegedly murdered by his son, one Chigorom Ezeofor aged about 37 years of the same address using an axe.

“Following the report, operatives attached to the Aguata Division led by the Divisional Police Officer, Ayeni Oluwadare, mobilized to the scene. The victim was photographed and rushed to the hospital where he was certified dead by a medical doctor and corpse deposited at the mortuary for autopsy.

“Exhibit recovered and the suspect who ‘looks insane’ was arrested and taken to the station for a discreet investigation to ascertain circumstances surrounding the incident.”
