Among the flood of congratulatory messages was pop star Taylor Swift, who playfully volunteered, “Yes, I will be the flower girl.”
Blanco also chimed in on Gomez’s post, commenting, “Hey wait… that’s my wife.” Other celebrities, including Cardi B, Gwyneth Paltrow, Jennifer Aniston, Suki Waterhouse, and Lil Nas X, joined in with well-wishes.
Gomez, the most-followed woman on Instagram with 423 million followers, shared more glimpses of her excitement via her Instagram Story.
In a video, she showed off her ring to loved ones during a phone call, exclaiming, “Yes to this,” as cheers erupted from the other end.
The couple has a professional history together, having collaborated on the songs I Can’t Get Enough (2019) and Single Soon (2023) before making their relationship public.
Blanco, who has also worked with major artists like Rihanna, Calvin Harris, and Justin Bieber, spoke warmly about Gomez during a May appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show.
“She’s just like the best, most genuine person,” Blanco shared. “Every day, I wake up and ask myself, ‘How did I get here?’ She’s one of the sweetest, most charming, and humble people I’ve ever met.”
Gomez, known for hits like Come & Get It, previously had high-profile relationships with Justin Bieber and The Weeknd.
She began her career as a child actress on Barney & Friends and Disney Channel, later transitioning into a successful music and acting career.
This year, the Texas-born star achieved billionaire status, with Bloomberg estimating her fortune at $1.3 billion, largely due to her Rare Beauty makeup brand.
On Monday, she celebrated another milestone with two Golden Globe nominations: Best Supporting Actress for her role in the musical Emilia Pérez and Best Actress in a TV series (Musical or Comedy) for her role in Only Murders in the Building.
