Senate To Increase Security Allocation In 2020 Budget

The Nigerian Senate has announced that it will increase budgetary allocations for security in the 2020 budget.

The Senate President, Ahmed Lawan made this disclosure during plenary on Wednesday.

He also said that the Senate will ensure accountability and transparency by monitoring expenditure.

The Senate urged the security agencies to intensify efforts at ensuring the protection of lives of Nigerians.
