Senator Musiliu Obanikoro’s Message To Lagosians On Coronavirus

This is indeed is a trying time for all of us and we need each other’s support to get through this period!

The spate of death owing to the uncommon invasion of the coronavirus has been overwhelming for the world. Unbelievably, the old order of the world as we know it has been decimated. This is a situation where race, education, location, religion and vocation do not play a part in any significant way; everybody is on the same train. People are dying across the globe and economies are on halt.

In Nigeria, the situation is frightening especially when the challenges Europe and the US are facing in terms of confirmed cases come to mind. We are all in the ship; all playing our parts to ensure that we do not experience a catastrophic spread by adhering to the directives of the health professionals via the government.

Hearing from the distinguished Senator Musiliu Obanikoro, a former Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria is quite uplifting and charging. More reputable figures should take a cue from this to use their goodwill to admonish Nigerians and assure them that they are not alone and we can overcome this phase of human existence.

Ekohotblog also concur with the distinguished Senator’s admonishment and his sense of patriotism.
Personal hygiene is important and must be observed.

Wash your hands regularly with soap every 20 minutes. Observe the social distancing rule.

Avoid the large crowd and adhere and comply with the directive of the Lagos State Government. This is indeed is a trying time and it shall come to pass. Enjoy the Video.
