Senator Tokunbo Abiru Celebrates Christmas, Advocates Unity and Peace
Senator Mukhail Adetokunbo Abiru, FCA, representing Lagos East Senatorial District, has extended heartfelt Christmas greetings to Christians and all Nigerians, urging reflection on the virtues of love, tolerance, and sacrifice exemplified by Jesus Christ.

He acknowledged the economic challenges currently facing the nation and called on Nigerians to remain patient and supportive of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration, which is implementing critical reforms aimed at achieving long-term economic stability and growth.
“As we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, I encourage Christian faithful to embrace His teachings of love, sacrifice, and unity,” Senator Abiru stated. “These principles are crucial for building a harmonious and prosperous nation.”
The lawmaker expressed deep empathy for Nigerians enduring economic hardships but assured them that the administration’s bold policies—such as the removal of fuel subsidies, foreign exchange unification, and tax reforms—are essential steps toward a sustainable and thriving future.
“I fully understand the struggles many Nigerians are facing during this challenging period,” he said. “However, I am confident that relief and prosperity are within reach as the positive impacts of these reforms begin to take effect.”
