- Senator wonders why question Tinubu’s age
EKO HOT BLOG reports that a senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator Shehu Sani, has questioned the motives of those who bother themselves with the age of the national leader of the APC, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, asking for what reasons.
In a post recently on one of his social media posts, the senator representing Kano, joked about it.
“You keep insisting that you want to know the real age of the Jagaban, did he tell you he wants to play for the Golden Eaglets?” He tweeted.

In another development, EKO HOT BLOG reports that senator Shehu Sani has called on the Nigerian military to recover the territories captured by the Islamic State of West Africa, ISWAP, in Borno without delay.
He tweeted this in reaction to the cry for help made by the Borno State governor for help, after members of ISWAP took control of some local governments in Borno state, Nigeria.
“That ISWAP is in control of some local governments in Borno state as revealed by the state Governor, calls for an urgent action to dislodge them and recover our territory.” Senator Sani said.
This online media platform recalls that the Borno State Governor, Babagana Zulum yesterday raised fresh concerns over the increasing activities of the Islamic State of West Africa (ISWAP) terrorists in the core and northern parts of the state.
Revealing that two local government areas of the state, Guzamala and Abadam, are still being controlled by the terrorists, Zulum claimed that ISWAP terrorists are better equipped, better trained and more sophisticated than the defunct Boko Haram terrorists led by the late Abubakar Shekau, hence the need for the Nigerian military to be more decisive in dealing with them.
