Atalanta struck early, with Lookman’s cutback setting up Marten de Roon for the opening goal in the 6th minute.
Just three minutes later, Mateo Retegui doubled the lead with a composed finish from the edge of the box.
Atalanta’s dominance continued as Charles De Ketelaere added a third in the 14th minute, showcasing skillful footwork to curl his shot into the far corner.

Lookman then stole the show with two quick goals, driving powerfully into the box to bury his first and later capping off a swift team move with a simple tap-in.
Verona’s Amin Sarr managed a consolation goal in the 42nd minute, but Atalanta remained in control, rounding off the win with another Retegui strike in the second half.
