Seven women have reportedly been found dead in a beauty salon in the Rijau Local Government Area of Niger State.
The spokesperson of the state police command, Wasiu Abiodun, confirmed the report.
Abiodun said the victims, including two married women and five single ladies, went to make their hair in the salon last week where they died ahead of the Sallah.

According to the eyewitnesses report, there was no light in the area which prompted the owner of the salon to use her generator with her door closed.
The sources added that the women died from inhaling fumes from the generator used in the salon.
While five of them died on the spot, two others died in the hospital where they were rushed to.
Abiodun said the bodies had been released to the families for burial and investigations into the incident have commenced
