Eko Hot Blog reports that political activist, Japhet Omojuwa, has debunked the report that Seyi Tinubu, the son of President Bola Tinubu, gave N15 million to the family of late singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as MohBad.
Dada Olusegun, a special assistant to President Tinubu, on social media, in a now-deleted tweet, shared a payslip of the alleged transaction of N15m sent to MohBad’s family.
However, JJ Omojuwa, in a tweet @Omojuwa, said the President’s son did not send such an amount to the late singer’s family. “Just to be clear, the N15m making the rounds that Seyi donated is not true.”

Omojuwa said he has been discussing Mohbad’s issue with Seyi, and he has promised to help with Mohbad’s son’s education and support the wife of the late singer. “He said he’d commit to the kid’s education and also support the wife immediately,” Omojuwa said.
“But we also knew there was still a danger of that getting used against him politically – that’s the world we now live in. It is what it is, it’s why one can only move the best way one can”
