SGF Akume Seeks Youth’s Supports For Govt’s Policies

Secretary to Government of the Federation, SGF, George Akume, says President Bola Tinubu is committed to youth development.

Akume, made this statement at the inauguration of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, National Working Committee.

The SGF, a grand patron of APC Youth League, who  was represented by his Chief of Staff, Chris Tarka, assured the youth of support from the Presidency.

He advised them to show understanding as the President rebuilds the country, noting the process may take time.

The event, in Abuja, was attended by key government officials and party leaders.

He listed the President’s achievements and appealed to youths not to protest, stressing support for the administration.

“The protest is not in the best interest of Nigeria. It undermes democratic governance, as it has political undertone,” Lawal said.

Speakers included APC National Chairman, Dr. Umar Ganduje; Minister of State for Environment Dr. Iziaq Salako; Minister of State for Youth Development, Ayodele Olawande; National Patron of the League, Pius Gbogbon.

Other exco members are Ibrahim Goni (Deputy President, North), Miriam Obi (Deputy President South).

League’s Founder, Atir Faeren, was lauded for his vision and dedication in establishing a dynamic youth movement.
