Shamsideen Ekutti & Helen Edaki-Ekutti To Be Installed As Gbobaniyi, Yeye Gbobaniyi Of Epe
Eko Hot Blog reports that Shamsideen Babatunde Ekuti and his wife, Helen Edaki-Ekuti, are set to take the titles of Gbobaniyi and Yeye Gbobaniyi of Epe kingdom, Epe, Lagos State, respectively.
They will receive the chieftancy titles at an Iwuye Ceremony on Sunday, October 1, 2023.

Eko Hot Blog gathered that the Iwuye Ceremony will hold at the Palace of the Olu-Epe of Epe Kingdom, Oba Shefiu Olatunji Adewale (Bangbopa Esinlokun 1).
The reception will hold afterwards at the Epe Chalet in Epe, Lagos.
Chief Shamsideen Ekutti and Chief Helen Edaki-Ekutti, who are based in the United States (US), are married with children and grandchildren.
Chief Shamsideen Ekutti, born on July 13, 1954, at Oke Balogun in Epe, had his primary education in Epe.
He moved to Lagos where he became an Electrical Engineer to further his education.
The Gbobaniyi of Epe Kingdom worked with Eko Holdiay Inn as Duty Engineer for 17 years before moving to US in 1994.
While in Eko Hotel Inn, Chief Ekutti was the team Manager of Eko Hotel Football Club, a club he took from LAFA league division 4 to National League division 1. He was also a committed member of the Green Eagles Club.
In the US, he worked with CMR Electrical Company. He presently works with the State of Rhode Island.
Meanwhile, Oba Adewale will celebrate his 85th birthday on the day of the Iwuye ceremony.
