Shan George Throws Her Weight Behind Angela Okorie In Fiery Rebuke Of Female Nollywood Celebs

  • It was roughly days ago that Nollywood actress, Angela Okorie hit out at her female colleagues for lying to the public.

  • In support of the actress, Veteran Nigerian film actress, Shan George has hit out at those in the industry for career-shaming those who aren’t living as large as they are.

  • For Shan George, the houses they keep on display are leased for show-off as opposed to them being owned by them.

EKO HOT BLOG reports that Nollywood veteran actress, Shan George, has weighed in on the recent comments made by her colleague, Angela Okorie, regarding female actresses who own multi-million mansions in Lagos.

Angela had previously revealed in an interview with Factory 78 that many of her female colleagues engage in other side hustles to fund their lifestyles, as opposed to relying solely on acting as their source of income.

Angela went on to advise upcoming actresses to stop pretending that acting is their only source of income and to, instead invest in other businesses while still pursuing their careers in acting.

She also pointed out that flaunting lavish lifestyles and crediting it solely to the acting industry makes those who have been in the industry for years look unserious.

In response to Angela’s comments, Shan George took to social media to agree with her colleague’s words. Shan disclosed that many Nollywood stars rent their houses, and the majority of them who claim to own houses are lying, as their houses are actually on lease.

In her words, Shan said:

“Many just lease the house, and come online to claim bought. Their cup of zobo biko.” The actress’s comments have sparked further discussions about the reality of the lifestyles that many Nollywood actresses portray online.
