Shehu Sani speaks on alleged secret burials of Nigerian soldiers

Senator Shehu Sani has spoken about the alleged secret burial of 1,000 soldiers killed by Boko Haram. The report which was published by highly respected international media house, Wall Street Journal has continued to generate reactions.

Sani, a human rights activist turned politician, gave his opinion on the issue, writing like a poet. He said: “Let not our heroes be buried in the dark. Let not our heroes be buried without their deserved drums of honour.

“Let not our heroes be buried w/out the trumpet of our gratitude. Let not our heroes be buried without the comets crowning their valor. Let not the weeds overran their tombs.”
