EKO HOT BLOG reports that Shehu Sani, a former Senator, on Friday taunted President Muhammadu Buhari, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Federal Republic of Nigeria for canceling his trip to Zamfara State due to bad weather.
Buhari had announced on Thursday that he won’t be able to make it Zamfara, for his scheduled visit, because the weather is not favourable to fly.

Buhari, who was in Sokoto earlier on Thursday to inaugurate some projects, was billed to proceed to Zamfara to discuss insecurity in the state and also to commiserate with the people over the recent attacks in Anka and Bukkuyum LGAs.
Some of the service chiefs who were expected to fly to Zamfara were also held back in Katsina over the poor weather condition.
“When the Weather was bad, the Commander in Chief could have still travel by road to Zamfara if he wants to,” Sani wrote on his verified Twitter handle.
Earlier, Buhari had commissioned a BUA cement plant in Sokoto.
Among those present when the president visited Sokoto were Aminu Tambuwal, governor of Sokoto; Godwin Emefiele, governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN); and Abdul Samad Rabiu, chairman of BUA Group.
