Shettima, Mai Mala Binu, Others Present In Abuja As Abacha’s Son Is Laid To Rest (Photos)

  • Shettima and other top politicians were present in Abuja for the burial of Abacha’s son.

EKO HOT BLOG reports that Abdullahi, one of the sons of the former Head of State, General Sani Abacha, has been laid to rest in Abuja, today (Sunday).

This online media platform reported that Abdullahi Abacha, aged 36, died in his sleep in the early hours of Saturday according to his sister Gamsu Sani Abacha.

Mrs Abacha-Buni, the wife of Yobe State Governor Mai Mala Buni, wrote a tribute to Abdullahi on Saturday via Instagram.

She wrote, “Innalillahi wa inna ilahi rajiun (Surely, we belong to Allah and verily to Him do we return). I lost my younger brother Abdullahi Sani Abacha. He died in his sleep. May Allah forgive his shortcomings and grant him jannatul firdaos (paradise), Ameen. Please include him in your prayers”.

A source quoted by Daily Nigerian said, “He was hale and hearty last night, but was found dead on Saturday morning. He died peacefully in his sleep.”
