A shocking picture has surfaced on the internet of people see washing used nose masks to sell to unsuspecting Nigerians.
Nigeria is currently battling with coronavirus, with 542 confirmed cases in the country as at the time of filing this report (Sunday, April 19, 2020).
Nose masks, hand gloves, hand sanitizers are items used to help curtail the spread of the virus.

However, since the index case broke in Nigeria in February, the price of nose masks had gone up, as one is sold between 300 and 400 naira compared to 50 naira before the virus broke out.
In the said picture shared by a twitter user, @eniola_opeyemi, two women were seen washing nose masks with the likely intention of selling them
This is not a healthy move, especially at a time when the country is struggling to curtail the growing cases of COVID-19.
