It was a horrific sight in Lagos on Thursday as two self-acclaimed evangelists slugged it out on the streets of Ikeja over what looked like a fray for the right to preach the gospel of Christ.
During the episode, which was captured by an eyewitness who did not want his name mentioned, two evangelists of different Christian denominations could be seen trading curses and invectives at each other as the fight to claim preaching right intensified.

EKO HOT BLOG gathered that the feisty dramatics, which consequently created a spectacle on the streets of Ikeja reached tipping point when the two preachers (male and female) defied all known religious ethics to plunge into physical altercation, prompting the male preacher to repeatedly shriek “I bind you in the name of Jesus” while the female preacher kept calling him “ashawo preacher”.
Passers-by could also be heard condemning and reproaching the two evangelists as they engaged in this brazen, barefaced and shameful disregard for the tenets of the religion they had gone out to preach.
