Former Kaduna lawmaker, Shehu Sani says Shoprite’s exit plan from Nigeria will help the local market and supermarkets grow, Ekohotblog reports.
Sani disclosed this in a tweet on Monday, August 3, 2020, noting that Shoprite can either choose to stay or go but if its decision, is to go, then it will help the local supermarkets grow.
“If Shoprite wants to stay, they can stay; if they want to go, they can go; it will help local supermarkets to grow.” he tweeted.
