Sir Alex Ferguson Questions Solskjaer’s Competence
Former Manchester United Coach, Sir Alex Ferguson has put to question the competence of his successor, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer for his decision to bench Cristiano Ronaldo on Monday
Alex Ferguson who was in attendance at Old Trafford with UFC fighter Khabib Nurmagomedov during the 1 – 1 against Everton was filmed questioning Solskjaer’s decision to leave Ronaldo out of his starting lineup.
Ronaldo who started out on the bench despite scoring the 95th minute winner against Villareal in their previous match was substituted on in the 57th minute of the match.

Despite the match being in a 1 – 0 goal advantage when Ronaldo was brought in, the Former Red Devil’s coach Alex Ferguson believed he had no business being on the bench in the first instance.

Before Nurmagomedov interrupted: “He came on in the second half.”
Ferguson interjected, replying: “I know, but you should always start with your best players.”
