Eko Hot Blog reports that a tense situation unfolded at the popular Banex Market in Wuse, Abuja, on Saturday.
Eyewitnesses reported a group of young men engaged in a heated argument with two soldiers.
The confrontation escalated as the men broke into smaller groups and fiercely attacked the soldiers.

Caught in the Crossfire A man in civilian clothing was also assaulted by the mob, though it remains unclear if he was a soldier.
One trader recounted, “There was a disagreement between some boys and soldiers.”
Traders Brace for Reprisal In a video, traders were seen locking up their shops, fearing potential retaliation from the soldiers.
“I called my boys at the shop, and they told me about the disagreement,” a trader stated.
