Solskjaer Under Pressure Over De Gea’s Situation At Man United
- Henderson was brought into the line-up last month as De Gea went on parental leave.
- He has kept his place even after the Spaniard’s return.
Manchester United are ready to sanction the departure of goalkeeper David de Gea when the transfer window reopens.
The Spaniard has been the club’s first-choice goalkeeper for nearly a decade, but he has recently lost his spot to Dean Henderson.
As gathered by EKO HOT BLOG, the Red Devils have made the decision to part ways with the 30-year-old at the end of the season.
De Gea is currently on a club-record £350,000-a-week, and the club are determined to reduce his salary from their wage bill.
De Gea has more than two years remaining on his contract, and the Red Devils will demand around £50m to offload him.
Paris Saint-Germain could be interested in landing the Spaniard after their failed approach in the summer of 2019.
Still, they may be reluctant to meet his current salary, and it is reported that United could offer De Gea with a huge pay-off.
