EKO HOT BLOG reports that Nollywood actor, Frederick Leonard, has urged his colleagues to use deodorants compulsorily while on movie sets.
Leonard made the statement in response to a post by fellow actor, Victor Okpalan, who had lamented about the unpleasant smell some actors and crew members bring to movie sets.
In his comment on Okpalan’s post on Instagram, Leonard stated that deodorants should be a basic requirement for both the cast and crew on movie sets. He also advised filmmakers to use mint or gum to tackle mouth odour.
According to the actor, anyone with a functioning brain should know the importance of using deodorants, especially in a profession that requires them to be on their feet for a minimum of 14 hours.
Leonard stressed that it is essential to touch up again by 5 pm so that no one begins to smell like a goat.
He also emphasized the importance of using mint or gum to tackle mouth odour, noting that it is essential for maintaining a pleasant atmosphere on movie sets.
Leonard’s advice has generated mixed reactions from his colleagues and fans on social media, with many agreeing with him and urging others to take personal hygiene seriously. Frederick Leonard is a popular Nollywood actor known for his roles in movies such as “A Soldier’s Story” and “The Accidental Spy.”
