Somolu Hospital Shines in HTSI’s Quality Healthcare Assessment

Somolu General Hospital has recently played host to the Hospital Transformation Support Initiative (HTSI) team from the Lagos State Health Service Commission.

The team, led by the Permanent Secretary, Dr. Ademuyiwa Benjamin Eniayewun, embarked on a comprehensive tour of the facility to assess the quality of healthcare service delivery.

Dr. Eniayewun expressed his admiration for the hospital’s commendable efforts, despite the challenges posed by limited space.

He emphasized the importance of regular evaluations to ensure that public health facilities meet the highest standards of healthcare delivery.

The Medical Director/Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Mustapha Adebola Quadri, warmly received the team and reaffirmed his commitment to continually enhancing services at the General Hospital Somolu.

He aspired to make the hospital a beacon of excellence in healthcare.

The HTSI team meticulously inspected various departments, including the Accident and Emergency Ward, Ante-Natal Clinic, General Out-Patients Department, Post and Neonatal Wards, Labour Room, Consulting Rooms, Laboratory, and Paediatrics Ward.

This collaborative effort marks a significant stride towards achieving a greater Lagos, where quality healthcare is accessible to all.
