The All Progressives Congress (APC) stakeholders in the Southeast geopolitical zone have resolved to do all their power to ensure that the party emerged victorious in the forthcoming Anambra gubernatorial poll.
The stakeholders also emphasised the need for conscientious membership registration and reconciliation of party structures from ward to state levels.
APC stalwarts present at the even include: the host and Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodimma; House of Representatives members, Nkiruka Onyejeocha and Chinedu Ogah; Minister of Science and Technology, Ogbonnia Onu; Minister of State for Education, Emeka Nwajiuba; Member of the APC Interim Committee, Senator Ken Nnamani, among many others.
For Governor Uzodimma, he believes the APC in Southeast has all it would take to dominate the Southeast zone, stressing the need for unity, brotherly love and genuine reconciliation.

He said: “I believe that winning Anambra governorship will make the party stronger in the zone. And we can only succeed in doing this through genuine reconciliation and unity among members of the party.”
Also speaking at the meeting, Minister of Science and Technology, Ogbonnia Onu, said that people in the Southeast zone are yearning for the APC, adding that it is the reason the party has to be united to achieve its goal.
Former Senate President, Ken Nnamani, informed the stakeholders that registration will commence from the unit levels, where members will cast their votes, urging party faithfuls to take part in the process as it will enable the party gauge its strength at the unit level.
He however dismissed insinuations that he is not in good terms with Governor Uzodimma and assured that he will work with him to woo other governors in the Southeast to join the APC.
