Southeast Does Not Need 5G Network Says Nnamdi Kanu
Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), says the Southeast does not need 5G network.
According to reports, the IPOB leader while speaking on the Fifth Generation Mobile Networks, called on the region to look away from the 5G network until all research was carried out.
Ekohotblog understands that the IPOB leader who made this comment on the micro-blogging site, Twitter, further stated that Nigeria does not need the 5G network due to its economy.
The IPOB leader tweeted: “What do you need 5G for? Is it the economy of tomatoes and onions that Almajiris needs 5G for?”
“No need for 5G in Biafraland until all the scientific data is collected.”
Meanwhile, Kanu’s statement is coming at the time Dino Melaye, a former lawmaker representing Kogi West at the National Assembly, pleaded with President Muhammadu Buhari not to approve 5G network.
Earlier, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, founder of Believers Love World, also known as Christ Embassy, linked the 5G network, Coronavirus, vaccines to the antichrist. The Senior Pastor of the Christ Embassy church alleged that the Federal government placed a lockdown on Lagos and Abuja so as to install the controversial 5G network.
Pastor Chris said this while preaching in his church on Sunday, April 5, where he opined that what has killed so many people in Wuhan, China is not Coronavirus as has been reported but rather it is the 5G network installed there.
The clergyman challenged anyone with a different opinion to come forward. On social distancing. Oyakhilome said it is a ploy by the government to keep people indoors so they do not protest the installation of a 5G network in Nigeria.
