EKO HOT BLOG reports that Sowore made this disclosure in a statement and video shared on his X account on Friday.
He expressed frustration, stating that he was being subjected to ongoing harassment and a violation of his rights.
“The Nigerian Immigration Service (#nigimmigration) continues to subject me to unwarranted harassment and abuse, repeatedly violating my rights,” he wrote. “Today, once again, they stopped me on my way out of Nigeria, claiming I am on their WATCHLIST!”
The accompanying video shows Sowore questioning an Immigration Service officer and requesting to speak with a superior officer.
