Spanish Giants Reportedly Prepares £258,000-A-Week Deal To Get Manchester United’s £80m Rated Star

- Spanish Club and Spain giants Real Madrid are having a midfielder on their radar, which is the long-touted Manchester United’s Paul Pogba.
Manchester United during the last international break had to lick their wounds, as they went into that period on a back of a heavy defeat at Old Trafford, to their ex-manager Jose Mourinho and his new team Tottenham Hotspur.
The defeat was a heavy one as they collected six goals from Tottenham after initially going a goal ahead through a Bruno Fernandes’ spot kick, and were further punished with a red card to their striker Anthony Martial, as Tottenham eased pass them with a comfortable 6-1 victory.
However, with the current international break, they were 3-1 victors against Everton at Goodison Park after back-to-back defeats both in the Premier League and Champions League, a 1-0 loss against Arsenal at Old Trafford and a 2-1 away defeat to Turkish side considered as underdogs, in Istanbul Basaksehir respectively.
It would certainly have been a different story if Manchester United had loss the match to Everton who scored first, as their manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was reportedly under pressure of getting sack from his managerial role at the Theatre Of Dreams, with Tottenham’s ex-manager touted as the most likely replacement.
The gaffer, Solskjaer sure knows how to quench the fire and reduce the pressure on his coaching job, with a win at Goodison Park, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has definitely bought more time at the club and would be expected to turn things around at Old Trafford.
According to AS, Spanish Club and Spain giants Real Madrid are having two midfielders on their radar, which includes Rennes midfielder Camavinga and the long-touted Manchester United’s Paul Pogba.
It is reported that the Los Blancos President Florentino Perez would rather prefer World Cup winner, and the club will at least agree a deal which is worth €15m a year which can be split into £258,000-a-week, just to bring him to Santiago Bernabeu.
Paul Pogba since his return to Manchester United from Juventus in 2016 in a world record £89m fee, has proven to be inconsistent since his move and has enjoyed a huge share of criticism from the media, sport pundits, club legends and fans.
Currently, the midfielder is not considered important in the Manchester United team with Scott McTominay and Fred preferred in the middle of the park ahead of him, as they have proven to be instrumental for the side.
Since the beginning of the 2020/2021 season, Paul Pogba has only featured in 11 games in all competitions for Manchester United, scoring just one goal and providing only two assists; was culpable for the loss against Arsenal at Old Trafford, making a reckless tackle on Hector Bellerin in the 18-yard-box to hand Arsenal the win, as Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang converted from the spot.
Paul Pogba has not just been inconsistent, his style of play is just so uncalled-for, zero productivity, yet he hangs unto ball longer than necessary, killing the team’s spirit and making unnecessary guarding of the ball, all these always lead to him getting dispossessed by opposition teams and could cause United dearly.
To further highlight Paul Pogba’s unimportance in the team and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, when Ole was under fire with rumors of his inevitable sack if he had loss at Goodison Park, Everton, he opted for the midfield of Fred and McTominay instead, even though Pogba had featured just 29 minutes during the loss to Istanbul, Solskjaer only introduced him for eight minutes during the 3-1 win against Everton.
