Despite reports that he is set to sign for either Real Madrid or Tottenham Hotspurs, Bruno Fernandes’s current club, a Sporting CP source has said they are expecting a bid from Manchester United today.
Speaking on Saturday after the midfielder, who scored 32 goals along with 18 assists last season, informed Sporting of his wish to move on, Sporting are expecting a €70m bid from United after receiving a €60m offer from London club, Tottenham.
In terms of priority, sources close to Fernandes said he prefers a move to England, United in particular, but won’t mind going for the Spurs option as he also sees them as a decent side.
