Nwabali received the heartbreaking news after the team’s match against Benin Republic.

Still mourning his father, Nwabali has now revealed that he has also lost his mother.

The Chippa United shot-stopper shared the sorrowful news on his social media account, calling 2025 “the worst year of my life already.”

On his official X account, Nwabali posted, “RIP mom, worst year of my life already 😢💔.”
