Stop Drinking Eva Water, For Now, NAFDAC Tells Nigerians

The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC), has asked Nigerians to refrain from consuming Eva table water for now.

The agency said the announcement follows a voluntary report by the Nigerian Bottling Company (NBC) which produces the popular Eva Water about an issue with the product.

NAFDAC said NBC made the report has to do with a change in the colour of the product, from the colourless Nigerians are used to, to light green as well as the presence of particles in two product lots.

As a result of this, Oyo State production plant of the firm has been suspended pending the outcome of an investigation being conducted by the Agency as a recall of all the products made between the above date has been announced.
