We also want to address some myths in society. There are mothers that are actually giving their children sanitisers to drink. There is no evidence that giving sanitisers to children will prevent COVID-19. So, we encourage people to cease from doing this.”

Few cases of the diseases have been confirmed in Ogun State, which has led to a lockdown ordered by the president.

The lockdown which was meant to take effect from yesterday, March 31st was adjusted by Governor Dapo Abiodun to enable the distribution of relief materials to residents.
