EKO HOT BLOG reports that a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and former presidential aspirant, Stanley Osifo, has criticized the presidential candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi of the Labour Party, for challenging the outcome of the 2023 presidential election.
On Wednesday, March 1, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) confirmed Bola Tinubu of the APC as the February 25th presidential poll winner.

However, Atiku and Obi were unsatisfied with the commission’s declaration; each claimed they won the election.
Recall that Atiku came second with voter turnouts while Obi emerged third in the keenly contested election.
The duo have both sought permission from the Presidential Election Court (PEC) in Abuja to inspect the electoral materials as they push further to reclaim their allegedly stolen mandate.
Reacting in a statement issued in Lagos on Friday, Osifo said that Tinubu won the election as declared by INEC. The politician maintained that Atiku and Obi were making false claims about the polls.
He, however, said that the president-elect, Tinubu is willing to accommodate everyone with a genuine interest in the favourable Nigerian project plan execution.
“Peter Obi and Atiku Abubakar, including other candidates that lost in the presidential and National Assembly elections, should join hands with Bola Tinubu in moving Nigeria forward,” Osifo said in the statement.
He added: “Both of them are making false claims to electoral victory. APC won the 2023 Presidential election that was conducted on Feb. 25 in Nigeria.
