Stop Stereotyping My People – Park Ji Sung Warns Manchester United Fans

Former Manchester United player, Park Ji Sung has implored Manchester United fans to stop singing the song dedicated to him

The South Korean while acknowledging that he knows the fans don’t intend to offend him, but the song however contains some racial slurs that his compatriots consider demeaning.

The retired midfielder who played at Manchester United between 2005 – 2012 registered 134 appearances and is still loved by the red devils football community.

The 40-year-old was prompted to speak out after hearing the song at Molineux in August when Wolverhampton Wanderers unveiled their new signing Hwang Hee-chan.

Park Ji Sung till this day remains the most successful footballer in Asian history having won 19 trophies in his career.
