This move aligns with President Tinubu’s vision of fostering inclusive education for all Nigerian students.

NELFUND’s media lead, Nasir Ayantogo, stated, “Students can now access loans to pursue their academic dreams without financial constraints.”
The user-friendly portal, nelf.gov.ng, streamlines the application process for eligible students.
“We encourage all students to seize this opportunity and contribute to our nation’s growth,” Ayantogo urged.
Access to Higher Education Act Paves the Way Tinubu’s signing of the Access to Higher Education Act in June 2023 enabled indigent students to secure interest-free loans.
The Act also established the Nigerian Education Loan Fund to manage loan requests, grants, disbursements, and recovery processes.
