Students Of Sheikh Abdulkadir, Oniwaasi Of Epe, Seek Donations For AAKIEF Foundation

• Isaac Shade made sonorous recitations from the Holy Quran

In a bid to actualise the dream of their mentor, teacher and spiritual father, students of the late Fadeelatul Sheikh Alhaji Abdul-Kabir Ekemode, the Oniwaasi of Epe Kingdom, organised a fundraiser to set up a foundation for the Islamic scholar.

The fundraiser took place during the 8th day fidau prayer of the islamic Scholar.

The fundraiser, which was led by Barrister AbdulQudus Balogun, came in form of raising funds for the foundation named Al-Sheikh AbdulKabir Ekemode Islamic Foundation- AAKIEF.

Several guests made reasonable donations into the personal account the deceased operated.

Ekohotblog reports that the wives of the deceased got cash donations from well-wishers at the fidau prayer.

While the Private schools in which some of the children attend in Epe gave scholarship, Markaz Agege also offered scholarships to the children of the deceased whenever they’ve come of age but at the instance of the Aare Musulumi of Epe Kingdom.

In the program, Ekohotblog gathered that Isaac Shade made sonorous recitations from the Holy Quran while Alfa Nurudeen and Imam Lati anchored the Fidau/Khutubah.

Sheikh Abdulmumeen Imran had the special prayer for the deceased family and the Muslim ummah while khutbah for selected chapters in the Holy Quran was handled by Grand Chief Imam Sadallah Abiola Aliru with the vote of thanks said by Aare Muslumi of Epe Kingdom, Alhaji MD Ekemode.

Present at the gathering is The Grand Chief Imam, First Epe Central Mosque Oke-Balogun, Fadeelatul Sheikh Alhaji Abiola Aliru Sadallah, Chief Imam, Epe Central Mosque, Ita-Opo, Fadeelatul Sheikh Abdulateef Oladapo Ayeogbaro, MOCPED Provost, Associate Professor Nosiru Onibon and Alawonla 1 of Igbore-Orile Abeokuta, HRM Oba Joseph Ogunbona Ogunjobi and Baale Arapasowu, Chief Ajiborisha.

Others include Alhaji Wakeel Onibon, Khalifatul Markaziyin, Sheikh Edu Mujeeb, Naibul Imam of Epe Kingdom, Fadilatush Sheikh Muh.Shefiu Tukur, Chief Imam Aleke Central Mosque, Fadilatush Shayk Abdulkabeer Oriyomi, Iraye Landlord Association and Alaro Community High School Old Students’ Association members amongst many others.
