Successful Nigerian Celebrities Who Don’t Have A University Degree

• Gone are the days parents force their kids to make education a priority in life or if you didn’t have a university degree, you could not amount to anything.
• This  article is not intended to condemn education but it’s better to follow your dreams and try to achieve what makes you happy.

As gathered by EKO HOT BLOG, Some Nigerian celebrities have achieved beyond  imagination without having a university degree.  Below is a list of celebrities who have done that:

(1.) Tuface Idibia: Former plantashun boiz member Innocent Ujah Idibia known by his stage name 2baba is is one of the most successful African singers in this century.

it does not necessarily come as a surprise to know he does not have a university degree as he has said it repeatedly even singing the line in one of his club bangers “Nfana ibaga”.

But because of his musical success, he has been honored with many honorary degrees. Something he probably wouldn’t have achieved with a university degree.

(2.) Don jazzy: The former Mohits and present Mavin boss who recently shocked his fans with a startling revelation that he used to be married, does not possess a university degree.

He has revealed in interviews that he dropped out of the University in his first year to focus on his music career.

He seems to be very blessed with all he has achieved seeing how he sacrificed his family and education for his success.

(3.) Mercy Johnson: The successful Actress who is happily married with four kids has never attended a university.

Mercy revealed in numerous interviews she attempted to write the joint admission and matriculation exams two times without success and decided to follow another path which was acting.

Luckily for her, it paid off and she may never need to use a university degree for anything.

(4.) Wizkid: Grammy award winner Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun popularly known as Wizkid started his singing career at 11 years old with the name “lil prinz”.

He was probably so busy focusing on his music career and with the kind of success he has achieved, a university degree would be the last thing on his mind.

(5.) Genevieve Nnaji: Populary known as the Julia Roberts of Africa, with her silky smooth Acting and proficient English dictation, it may come as a surprise to many to know that the pretty Genevieve did not attend the University and does not own a university degree.

Her main priority was her acting career, so she abandoned her education to focus mainly on it and it has paid off tremendously

(6.)  Ramsey Noah: This is the most surprising of all. When you hear Ramsey Noah speak, it is like hearing a professor speak.

He has excellent command of English and interpretes his role perfectly. Although he has a diploma in mass communication, he never obtained a bachelor’s degree because he wanted to pursue his career in acting. It has worked out well for him in the end.
