The Ombada neighbourhood in western Omdurman that has seen several deadly attacks witnessed a bombardment on Tuesday according to a report.
Rights activists and residents in the capital, Khartoum, said that the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) that are fighting for control of the country have fired missiles into populated areas, exposing hundreds of civilian casualties.
The RSF artillery strength has made the occupation of Omdurman and Khartoum North that make up the wider capital possible.
General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, the Sudan’s military ruler on Wednesday issued a constitutional decree ordering the cessation of the RSF.
The Ombada region has been departed since the killing of 19 people in the military raids on Sunday
The residents in an accusation against the RSF said the faction have damaged homes and looted properties by firing the anti-aircraft missiles and artillery.
