Sultan of Sokoto demands stiffer punishment for criminals irrespective of status

The Sultan of Sokoto Muhammadu Sa’ad Abubakar wants the federal government to make punishment of criminals a priority in their struggle to curb the menace of insecurity in the Country.

Speaking at the 2nd National summit on peaceful Coexistence held in Jos the Plateau State capital, the Sultan recommended that law breakers in the country be punished irrespective of their positions or connection in the country
