Sergio Aguero ‘needs to prove fitness before Manchester City offer him new deal’
The Citizens are reportedly not currently ready to offer Sergio Aguero a new deal.
The striker is currently in self-isolation, meanwhile, after a member of his family tested positive for COVID-19, meaning that he will again be absent against the Eagles on Sunday evening.
The 32-year-old’s current contract at the Etihad Stadium is due to expire at the end of June, and a recent report claimed that Spainish Giants, Barcelona were interested in landing him on a free transfer.
According to The Mirror, City board have made it clear to the striker that he needs to prove his fitness in the coming weeks in order to land a new contract.
The report claims that French Giants, PSG as well as Barcelona are keeping a close tabs on the Situation surrounding the Argentina International, who is currently free to negotiate terms with foreign clubs.
Aguero has netted just twice at club level this campaign but has managed 256 goals in 379 outings for the Manchester City since joining from Atletico Madrid in year 2011.

Argentina international Lionel Messi is “happy” at Barcelona and wants to sign a new deal at Camp Nou, according to presidential candidate Joan Laporta.

Mesut Ozil ‘to say Arsenal goodbyes on Sunday’
Arsenal Midfieder Mesut Ozil will reportedly say goodbye to his colleagues on Sunday as the Ex- Germany Star prepares to depart the Gunners on a free transfer.
Mesut Ozil is believed to have reached an agreement with Arsenal to terminate his deal this january, and he’s expected to travel to Turkey in the coming days to finalise a transfer to Fenerbahce.
According to The Sun, Ozil, who hasn’t featured for Arsenal since March, will say goodbye to his teammates at Arsenal’s training ground on Sunday.

The Whites are reportedly considering a transfer for Wolves winger Adama Traore.
The Spain International enjoyed an impressive 2019-20 season for Wolves, but he has found it tough to make his mark this campaign, managing just 1 assist and 0 goals in 18 Premier League appearances.
