EKO HOT BLOG reports that the Nigerian shot-stopper confirmed the success of the procedure on Wednesday, expressing his gratitude to the medical team and promising to support his teammates as he focuses on his recovery.

“Surgery is done,” Okoye wrote on X (formerly Twitter). “A big thanks to Dr. Pigoli and his team! I played the last two months with a broken ligament in my hand.”

Okoye has been a key player for Udinese this season, making 15 appearances and delivering consistently strong performances.
