Super Eagles’ Nwabali Nominated For 2024 CAF Goalkeeper Of The Year
CAF announced the ten nominees on Thursday via X, showcasing some of the best goalkeeping talents in African football.

Nwabali will compete with standout names, including Morocco’s Yassine Bounou, Egypt’s Mostafa Shobeir, and Senegal’s Djigui Diarra.
Other top contenders include Cameroon’s Andre Onana from the English Premier League, as well as Munir El Kajoui (Morocco), Oussama Benbot (Algeria), Yahia Fofana (Ivory Coast), Lionel Mpasi (DR Congo), and Amanallah Memmiche (Tunisia).
These goalkeepers have shown outstanding skill and consistency, making the 2024 competition one of the fiercest in recent years.
