Eko Hot Blog reports that Princess Surah Animasahun, the Chairman of Epe Local Government, has issued a stern advisory to farmers, urging them to ensure that the fertilizers distributed during the recent agricultural palliatives event are used solely for crop cultivation.
She emphasized that these fertilizers are not to be sold, highlighting their high cost and significant importance in enhancing crop production.
“This fertilizer is very expensive and one of the greatest ways to help farmers produce good crops,” Princess Animasahun stated.
“I urge all farmers who receive these fertilizers to use them wisely and not sell them.
“The goal is to improve crop yields and, by extension, the livelihood of our farming community.”
The event, held at Alhaji Seriki Akanni Bamu’s residence in Epe, saw the distribution of agricultural palliatives spearheaded by Rep. Wale Raji MHR.
Princess Animasahun extended her heartfelt appreciation to Rep. Wale Raji for his support and numerous contributions to the development of Epe and Lagos State at large.
She also highlighted several key initiatives and projects that have significantly benefited the community under Rep. Raji’s leadership.
These include:
– Old Age Welfare: Monthly welfare programs aimed at improving the quality of life for elderly citizens.
– Educational Enhancements: Continuous efforts to improve the infrastructure and resources available in schools across Epe.
– Infrastructure Development: Ongoing projects to enhance roads, markets, and health centers, providing better facilities and services for residents.
“Rep. Wale Raji’s commitment to our community is commendable.
“His efforts in enhancing schools, roads, markets, health centers, and the welfare of our elderly citizens have made a tremendous impact,” she added.
The event also served as a platform to discuss future initiatives aimed at furthering the development of Epe and addressing the needs of its residents.
Princess Animasahun reiterated the importance of community cooperation and responsible utilization of resources to achieve sustainable growth and prosperity.
